Scanning has to be faster than not scanning
If tracking a tool slows a crew down, they'll stop doing it. One tap, the right action, and back to work.
No signal is normal
Job sites, basements and trucks don't have reliable coverage. Everything in the field works offline, first.
Pay for tools, not people
Users are unlimited, contractors included. Everyone who touches a tool should be able to scan it.
Find the tool, not someone to blame
Loss reports point to where a tool was last seen. People-based reports are off by default and for review only.
Use only what you need
Modules you don't use are switched off and hidden. A small yard shouldn't wade through rental and costing screens.
Open by default
A public API, webhooks, an MCP server for AI assistants, and exports from every list. Your data is yours.
Privacy and security
Your data stays yours, and stays put.
- Location only on scans. The phone records where it is at the moment someone scans a tag, and only if your company and that person both have it on. Never in the background.
- Every company kept apart. Each company's data is isolated at the database level, so one customer can never read another's.
- Tags can't be hijacked. Every tag is write-protected with its own password, worked out on our servers and never stored on a phone.
- Canadian hosting available. Enterprise customers can choose a dedicated database or a Canadian region.
- Everything on the record. Every change keeps who made it, when, and how: scan, web, API, import or AI assistant.

Square corners, ink, ruled lines and a hard shadow come from the CoreNode design system. Hi-vis orange, the tag mark and the status shapes are ToolTrack's own.
